Welcome to our newly renovated Lorne family holiday house - tucked away at the top of the hill, backing onto the bush, with ocean and valley views from the deck. It feels a world away from the summer crowds, yet you can happily walk into town and down to the beach. Thoughtfully laid out over two levels, it comfortably houses two families, with a separate kids' zone downstairs so everyone has room to spread out. 🌊 The Views & Deck Step through the sliding doors onto a generous timber deck overlooking the treetops to the ocean and the Otway valley beyond. There's an outdoor table and benches with an umbrella, a gas BBQ for long summer dinners, and a hanging egg chair that's perfect with a morning coffee or a sunset glass of wine. 🛋️ Living & Dining The heart of the home is a light-filled, open-plan space with vaulted ceilings, exposed timber beams and floor-to-ceiling sheer curtains. Sink into the linen sofa and armchairs around the open fireplace (firewood is provided outside), or stream your favourites on the 55" smart TV with soundbar. The farmhouse dining table seats 8, with ocean views through the glass doors. There's reverse-cycle air conditioning for heating and cooling, plus a ceiling fan, plus blockout blinds and sheers. 🍳 Kitchen A stylish, fully equipped kitchen with a massive benchtop and 4 bar stools - ideal for big family breakfasts and grazing boards. You'll find: • De'Longhi espresso machine with built-in grinder (coffee beans provided) • Bosch oven, induction cooktop and microwave • Large fridge/freezer and dishwasher • Air fryer, Nutribullet, slow cooker and toastie maker • Kettle, 4-slice toaster, knife block, pots, pans and all the cookware and crockery you'll need 🛏️ Upstairs Bedrooms • Master bedroom: King bed, walk-in robe, reverse-cycle a/c, blockout blinds and a private ensuite with shower and toilet • Bedroom 2: Queen bed, built-in robe, reverse-cycle a/c and blockout blinds • Bedroom 3: Queen bed, built-in robe and blockout blinds 🛁 Upstairs Bathroom Shared by bedrooms 2 and 3, with a shower, a separate toilet, and a small in-shower bath that's perfect for bathing babies and toddlers. 🎮 Downstairs Kids' Zone & Movie Room At the bottom of the stairs is a dedicated space for the kids (or the kids at heart). The rumpus and movie room has a 75" smart TV with soundbar, oversized bean bags, blockout blinds for movie nights, reverse-cycle a/c, and sofa bed that folds out to a queen. Sliding doors open onto the lawn and bush. 🛌 Bunk Rooms Two bunk rooms downstairs, each with a bunk bed plus a single bed (3 singles per room) and a built-in robe. 🚿 Downstairs Bathroom & Laundry A bathroom with shower and toilet, plus a laundry with washing machine and dryer. We often get vides from parrots, cockatoos, and even the odd koala or echidna! 📶 Extras Fast Wi-Fi, an iron and ironing board, a vacuum, a mop and a broom are all provided. The smart TVs work with your own streaming logins.
